Mission

Find some interesting wildlife in the swedish lakes and nature

A wildlife photography expedition deep into the Swedish wilderness around Södra Vallsjön near Hestra. The goal is to get close to nature and capture wildlife in its natural surroundings. The lake, forests and Valån river provide the setting as I search for roe deer, foxes, birds of prey, dippers, otters, beavers and, hopefully, the elusive kingfisher. After a quiet evening by the lake, filled with owl calls, mysterious cries and movement in the darkness, the morning promises to be even more exciting. The camera is ready — now it’s up to the wilderness to reveal what it has been hiding.

Kingfisher and Whitetail Eagle

Catch a Kingfisher in Usserød å, and see if there's any eagles at Kohave in Hellebæk in North Sealand

I wanted to see if there where any kingfishers to photograph in Usserød Å ,since a friend of mine told he saw one there some time ago. No luck, bur the trip to Kohave and Børsholm lake was a great succes.

Insearch of the Red deer I was going to a place I know they are. The area is vast and big but I succeeded in the last part of the journey.

Open fjäll, pale sky, and a gravel shoulder above the valley. This is where asphalt thins and the expedition becomes real — not as a vehicle portrait, but as a pause on the way into wilder ground.
